Trim Levels of the 2024 Toyota GR86

1. GR86

The GR86 is powered by a 228-horsepower 4-cylinder boxer engine that sits low in the chassis for better handling. Its 184 lb.-ft. of torque is available at just 3700 RPM, giving the GR86 a 0-60 mph speed of 6.1 seconds when equipped with its 6-speed manual transmission. For those who prefer the convenience of an automatic transmission, a 6-speed version with paddle shifters is also available.

The GR86’s cabin features sport seats with a G-embossed design and contrast-stitched interior accents. Its 6-speaker audio system is easy to adjust using an 8-inch touchscreen at the center of the dashboard. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connect your compatible smartphone to the display, so you can listen to your phone’s music, view directions, make calls, and more. The GR86 also includes an Active Safety Suite with features like a Pre-Collision Braking System to help prevent a collision.

2. GR86 Premium

The GR86 Premium upgrades the GR86’s equipment with features like a color-keyed rear spoiler, 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels, and Michelin Pilot sport tires. Inside, it has aluminum sport pedals, leather and Ultrasuede-trimmed heated front sport seats, and an 8-speaker audio system.

This model includes additional driver assistance features, like Blind Spot Detection, which can warn you when there’s another vehicle in your blind spot. Its Adaptive Front-Lighting System helps you see around curves at night by adjusting the headlights when you turn the steering wheel. GR86 Premium models with an automatic transmission also include Rear Parking Sonar with Reverse Automatic Braking to help you avoid obstacles when backing up.

3. GR86 TRUENO Edition

With only 860 GR86 TRUENO Edition vehicles produced for the US in the 2024 model year, this trim is truly a limited edition. Outside, exclusive design features include 18-inch black-metallic alloy wheels, a gloss-black rear spoiler, and an AE86-inspired two-tone black hood. The cabin is adorned with red accents, including red contrast stitching on the steering wheel and armrests and red leather door panel inserts and seat bolsters. The GR86 TRUENO Edition also comes with a limited-production commemorative plaque.
